Thursday! Was up at the crack of Dawn getting Joel,Jessie and cousin Andrew out the door. They are going to do a little spring snow boarding today! Copper mountain I hope you're ready for these crazy kids.
My knitting has come to a stand still. I think that I might have to take a break....Not! I am working on a shell and it is coming along but its slow.
As for whats going on in my adventures of Jobs.....I am going to work with lots of color at my new job! Thank goodness its something I feel confident about! Can you guess what department I will be working in at Home Depot? I think I will wait to see if you can guess!
I will be doing training through April and am going to work full time as of May 1st I think that's my official date. My knitting will probably be hit and miss for a while. But I am ready to get out of the house....Have worked out of my house for the last 20 years! Time to see another view of the world.

I am so thankful that its hump day!
I want you all to know haw wonderful my secret pal is! She is the BEST! Look at this wonderful bag that she made just for me. It has wonderful printed fabric inside with six yes I said six pockets. They were all filled with goodies....Knitters balm. Stitch counter, a Great addition to my scrapbooks a GNOME with knitting needles! She also included a wonderful note and some yummy candy called "Daim" it like toffee yummy! I need to know where I can buy it because I have never seen it before but it is a must.
My secret pal asked a couple of question of me and I thought I would address them now.She want to know if I would do socks and the answer is yes if I could do both at the same time. Also she wants to know about hand spinning would I ever do it? I would love to learn!! I have not read or looked into it but would be very interested in information about spinning.
I am posting some long awaited pictures. My Ene is finally a finished project! I think that I might do it again in the future. I had a great deal of difficulty with the first set of charts but after that it was a breeze.
My next picture is my Charlotte. I have about 27 more rows and am trying to get it off the needles for Friday night knitting.......Do you think I can do it?....Will see.
I am also going to tell you some news I have applied at Home Depot for part time work! If I had full time babies I would not have to but oh well. I am not opposed to finding another family but while in the process I must bring in a little bit more in the bacon department. Yes this is sad because it is going to cut into my knitting time BooHoo but it also means that I will have something on my resume other than Self employment for the last 20 years. They just don't see how important being a mom is! This is something that I would like to have address more in the future. Maybe when I can't sleep at night I will start writing a book on how important a Daycare provider really is and how people should view it as a real job!
Okay now I will get off my soap box.
I think I will pull out my color on color and get some more done. As for new projects I am thinking on finding a shell with maybe a simple cable on it!
Well my little cherub has awaken from his slumber and is wanting my attention so I must bid farewell to my blog but will be back sooner than later I hope!

Wednesday already....The days do fly by! Update Monday we were going to take the girls with us for our Anniversary but they both declined! I told Joel that it is hard to beat The Melting Pot ( a great place for Fondu) that's where we took the girls for valentines Day and for our youngest daughters Paiges birthday. Make a long story short we decided to rejoin our first years of marriage and eat cheap...We went to one of our favorite places....Penera Bread.... And shared memories over a bowl of potato soup! Just to be in a corner with Joel and not being interrupted with waiters and kids it was grand!
Back to knitting!
I am working on another slipper for an auction at my daughters church on March 11th. So everyone have a great day!
