I am having the Day of my LIFE! The sun is shining no snow in the forecast and my flower bulbs are pushing up the dirt. I have so much to tell you all....Its my 26th anniversary to my wonderful husband,Joel. He brought me 2 dozen red roses and is spending the day away from work and being with me.
We also took our oldest daughter Jessie and visited Colorado Christian College this morning. The campus is wonderful. We are also going to visit metropolitan State College this week. The wait is on for scholarship money. Then we sent her back to school.
Then the mail came! Yes I got mail from my International Scarf Exchange. Dalsee was doing my gift which was this beautiful Peace Fleece scarf and hat! It even has cables. The color is Blueberry Borscht. It was worth the wait! March is usually our snowiest month so I will give it a good work out then. Thank You so much Dalsee!
Well I hope you are not tired yet or maybe I am just rambling....I have picture updates. My Ene is about 85% finished.

I was not successful with getting it done while watching the Olympics but I did decrease the amount of stitches on the needles.
I also have this other new project called the Charlottes Web I am a glutton for punishment yes more lace work! But oh how fun it is.
Well I guess that I better get off here and get in the shower for this evening. I have no Idea where we are going...???.

Knit,Knit,Knit
I am really going on my Ene and will take pictures tomorrow to show progress.
I think it is going to be done this week! Crossing my needles for good luck!
I was unable to go knitting Friday night due to a concert at my daughters church. They were raising money for "The Invisible Children" Wow, if you every get a chance to see the documentary, watch it! It is a eye opener.
I hope you will take the time to check out the site.
Kids have such a special place in my heart.

Monday is one day I usually have to much going on....Not today! I could whine about how bad my head hurts. Well I think I wish I would have joined the Olympic knitting. I have finished another baby hat and a pair of slippers to felt. I will try to get pictures soon. If I don't get on tomorrow I hope every one has a GREAT Valentines Day

Good Tuesday afternoon!
I have been working on my Ene and my Color on Color and am making good progress. I am thinking that when the Olympics start I will lock myself in my bedroom and listen while I count loops for my Ene. I have ripped out another row....But I am thankful that Joanne gave me this great tip about running a safe line....Its like when your stitches are on a holder you won't have to rip out past that point. I probably am calling it total something other than the real terminology. But it works!
tomorrow will be a whole week of me being back in the working mode! I am watching 2 boys three days a week. The 3yr old is really keeping me on the go! His little brother is still trying to turn over (16wks old) I am able to keep up with him. But I am very thankful that I have them. My girls think that it is great that we have boys in the house.
I am going back to the couch no one is home so I can knit a little till they all arrive.
oops I forgot but we are taking the girls to see a Nuggets Basketball game tomorrow night! The girls have never been in the Pepsi Center so it will be a real treat! I hope that we have a great time watching the Chicago Bulls loose! The Nuggets have done pretty good this year.
