Well we are off! My family and some friends are going to Breckenridge for the weekend. My daughter is going to try out her new snow board. I am going to stay cozy in the cabin and knit. I think I will start Color on Color this trip. I found a big mistake on my Ene Shawl and so out it went! I am almost where I was when I found the mistake. If I were a more seasoned knitter I probably could have fixed it, Oh well.

Next week I will start beating the pavement.....For a job! I have done Child care out of my home for the last 17 years. I am looking for 2 families that would like and need a quality provider. Please if you hear of anyone feel free to give them my e-mail address and I will get in contact with them.

Maybe I will bring back some snow!

Hello everyone....Its January!
This year is already showing signs of how fast it can go Jan 6th wow!
My mittens were a big hit with the girls. They have even been wearing them to bed...Because mom won't turn up the heat! The power bill for our little house was over the $200.00 mark the most it has ever been and I keep the heat at 62* I think that they are wanting hats now. I am never board.
Knitting....hmmmm....I am doing the Ene Scarf in a black and teal can't wait to get a little further so I can post pictures. I found the yarn for the color on color at a pretty good savings at The Creative Needle for $58.00. So yes I am going to start it soon. Some of the colors were not available so I winged it and I think it will be just right.
I mailed my secret scarf and hat yesterday! My recipient should receive it by Monday. I hope she will like it. I also hope that she will take a picture of it on. I would love to put the picture in my knitters scrap book. Yes you read it right...I scrap book. I have a special book just for my knitting. I give away more than I keep so its nice to have my pictures.
Well I am off to knit. Hope you all have a great week-end
