Oh how I am ready for Christmas!
My hands have been knitting instead of blogging....I can't believe that my last entry was in November. I have finished the mittens! Can't wait for the girls to see them. I will make more of them but will change the pattern to knit them in the round.

I have finished another pair of slippers in blue and black for a real neat kid by the name of Cooper. He has always like the knitting projects that I have done so these will be special just for him.

I was trying hard to get my secret scarf pal her gift before Christmas but it looks like that is not going to happen. The hat that I was thinking of doing did not look as good as I would like so off the needles it went! I will try again soon.

I went to a real fun knitting party this past week-end! Actually this is the first knitting party that I have ever gone to....What a hoot! If you ever get invited to a knitting party never say No because you will miss out on good food, Great gab, and an exciting gift exchange I would have been in heaven with any of the gifts that were swapped through-out the exchange. I ended up with some beautiful Koigu purples and greens all in one! Thank you for the wonderful yarn! Stacey and her Mom, Marsha really throw a great party! The cucumber sandwiches and peanutbutter bars were some of my favorites.
I am working of a little hat for a little someone....I hope that the recipient will enjoy the warmth and the heart motif that I am weaving through. Will have pictures for all the knitting I have been doing maybe later tonight.
Well I am off....I am about to start the baking frenzy...I have not baked 1 cookie yet! My kids and husband have been more than patient and now I will fill them with more than enough sweets.
Through the year we hustle and bustle and we say where did the year go. At this time I would like to thank all of my knitting friends for a great year. The help and encouragement is always a little over looked. But thank you so much.
Probably until next Year
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
May you always have yarn and needles around.
Sharon
