This week is gone! I have done very little in the way of knitting.....Just a couple of hats and am into a bottom to top vest only about 2".
I am going to go out to Elizabeth this weekend and enjoy some time with one of my best friends. We usually scrapbook and do a little knitting. Am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Next week we will probably start seeing lots of leaves on the ground which means lots of raking! I do a lot of that because the family is at work and school so my little ones that I watch and I will play hahaha in the leaves. It seems like play to them but lots of work to me.
I just wanted everyone to know that there is a great craft show this Saturday! The Littleton Museum Craft fair at Ketring Park. 6028 S. Gallup St. in Littleton hours are 9:00am-4:00pm.
Hope some of you will put down the knitting and enjoy a day outside crafting! I have never been disappointed.

Where did the week go ? I am so looking forward to tonight I am going to Tattered Cover to enjoy good company, great projects, and knit!
I went to Tamara's house on Tuesday and we only have 8 more totes of yarn to go through. Then she will have to decide what to part with! You all could help her out and if you are looking for a certain yarn ....Give her a jingle and see if you could swap, purchase or what ever between your selves. Tamara's blog is http://newsfromthemill.myblogspot.com
I have some hats that are not up on the sight yet but maybe this weekend I will get them down loaded. I am making my daughter a cap to wear with her pirate costume nothing hard and very red!
Saturday I get to go to Boulder for a few hours yes for the knit athon or what ever...Tamara said that she was driving and am hitching a ride with her. I hate highway driving but sure love to go places. Then in the afternoon I am going to LaTiDa to check out there yarn my sister said that they had yarn on sale?

I can't believe that the weekend is over.
I have been doing baby hats this weekend and have 2 finished. I found out from Tamara that Target had a good price on foo-foo yarn so I went to check it out . They have a limited selection in the dollar bins when you go in the store. I think that it added the right amount of softness to the yarn. I will be going back to get more! Can't go wrong with $1.00 per roll.
I am going to turn out about one hat a day so that I can give some to others in need. Anyone that has scraps of yarn that they can send them my way! Send me a message and I will get in touch.

Wow I was able to get 1 picture on wow and its not the picture I wanted. Oh well I guess that this is not going to be an easy task for me. I went to colorful yarns on Monday and picked up some soft yarn to make 2 more kid size raglan sweaters. One of them will be pink and the other teal blue. These will be the last ones for a while. I have to stash them for Christmas gifts you know for the daycare children!
I am learning a lot about blogs as if I have a whole lot of time . Can anyone tell me the easy way to get buttons for my blog? How do I get the people that I enjoy reading their blog buttons? Oh so many questions keep popping up but that's enough for now. Feel free to write me with the answers.

First Time

Hello eveyone!
This is my first post and also my first blog. My family can't believe that I am doing this. This is a little out there for me.
I am a daycare mom first then a knitter. I have watched children in my home for 18 years and love every bit of them. My daycare door is open for 1 more family if anyone knows of a family in need of a loving environment for there little ones.
I have 2 girls that are growing up way to fast. I soon will be having one leave the nest. BOOHOO!
Now lets talk knitting. I am working on my second ragalan sweater for children. I have kit them in two wonderful yarns one by Debbie Bliss Arran and the other in Trend setters Scoubi Du yarn.
I will have pictures sometime tomorrow.
